Frozen-Inspired Cluster Scarf

My family loves the Disney movie Frozen, in fact, I'm not sure who loves it more - me or my kids!  :)  I've never crocheted a scarf before but have always wanted to so I played around with some stitches and was pleased with how my Frozen-inspired cluster scarf turned out!  I made mine more child-sized to fit my 9 year-old daughter but the pattern can easily be made larger.  It's easy to follow and works up quickly - I made mine in just a couple of hours!
Hope you enjoy!  Happy Crocheting!

What you will need:

Acrylic Yarn - approx 2.5 oz (I used Vannas Choice in Aqua and Rose Mist)
Size H/8-5.00 mm Crochet hook
Yarn needle

Let's Begin!

Ch 118 (If you would like a longer scarf, just make your chain longer by adding chains in multiples of three)

Row 1: 3 DC in 4th Ch from hook, skip 2 ch, * 3 DC in next ch, skip 2 ch *, repeat from * across, 1 DC in last Ch. (38 clusters)

Row 2: Ch 3, turn.  Skip first Sp, * 3 DC in next Sp *, repeat from * across.  3 DC in last Sp.

Row 3 - 9: Repeat Row 2

Fasten off after row 9.  Weave in ends.

Tassels: (you will need 10 or 12)

Cut 4 8-inch long pieces of yarn for each tassel.  Pull strands half way through a space on end of scarf.  Fold in half, tie a knot at top.  Repeat for each tassel, spacing them evenly across end.  Trim ends so they are even.

Finished!  (Wasn't that easy?)  Enjoy your new scarf!

Please note: You can make and sell as many of this pattern as you wish, but please do not copy or recreate the pattern or photos in any way.  Patterns are copyright protected.
